The goal of our Youth Ministry is to work hand-in-hand with parents to encourage, equip, and establish teens in Christ.  We strive to:

  • ENCOURAGE teens in their journey of faith and to live Godly lives despite the obstacles.

  • EQUIP them with applicable knowledge of God’s Word and a servant’s heart.

  • ESTABLISH a foundation of Jesus Christ for their lives and what a disciple of Jesus looks like on school campuses today.

We endeavor to help parents raise Christ-minded teenagers through the offering of various classes, retreats, mission opportunities, and resources.

About BYG Ministries

“BYG” stands for Belton Youth Group.  We come together for a common reason and purpose, but we are much more than just a “group”.  In addition to being a body of Christ-followers, we seek to use our group to minister to others around us in order that God may be glorified.

“Big God, Big Purpose, Big Impact” is our motto as a youth group and communicates what we are constantly trying to live out.

The youth program consists of teens in grades 6th-12th with the group divided into Middle School & High School classes.  Middle School classes consist of grades 6th-8th and High School classes are grades 9th-12th.

Come join us for class!

Youth classes are held in the BYG Room, located beside the gym on the west side of the complex.  Our class schedule is:

  • Sunday Morning –  10:30am in the Youth Center for middle school and high school students.

  • Wednesday Night – 6:30pm in the BYG Room for middle school and high school students.

  • Sunday Nights – We have various activities on Sunday nights including devotionals, area-wides, and small group.  Please see the youth calendar for more details.

We begin each class time altogether in a general hanging out time. Teens are free to sit and talk, play ping pong/foosball, etc. until we gather for a time of singing, announcements, & prayer. After a brief worship, we divide into our Middle & High School classes for the duration of class time.

Don’t worry, we don’t have a dress code (However, we respectfully ask that you don’t wear anything too revealing). Casual, everyday clothing (i.e. shorts, t-shirt, jeans, etc.) is just fine.
