Troubleshooting
On rare occasions, our livestream will have a glitch or lose connection. If that happens, try these solutions:
Refresh the page you are on to see if the stream has resumed.
Go directly to youtube.com/beltonchurch/live to see if a new livestream feed has been created.
OR
Go directly to facebook.com/beltonchurch/live to see if a new livestream feed has been created.
If you find that you have lingering streaming issues, long buffering times, or lots of lag time, try these solutions:
Check your Wi-Fi speed - If you experience buffering (getting a spinning circle and no video), run a speed test to make sure your internet is fast enough for streaming.
Improve your signal strength - Move your router away from walls, or add a Wi-Fi booster. Also, don’t overload your network with a lot of connected devices.
Use a connected device - Rather than using your phone or tablet, try using a device that connected with a ethernet cord to your router or access point.
Restart everything - Unplug your router, modem, and streaming player, then wait 30 seconds and plug them back in.
Talk to your internet provider - Find out if your internet plan is set up to handle downloading & streaming videos. Also, ask them about whether your router is equipped to handle the speed necessary to stream & download videos.
